Venant tout juste de terminer sa collaboration sur la Statue de la Liberté, Gustave Eiffel est au sommet de sa carrière. Le gouvernement français veut qu’il crée quelque chose de spectaculaire pour l’Exposition Universelle de 1889 à Paris, mais Eiffel ne s’intéresse qu’au projet de métropolitain. Tout bascule lorsqu’il recroise son amour de jeunesse. Leur relation interdite l’inspire à changer l’horizon de Paris pour toujours.

 

Mon opinion :

–  L’histoire d’amour entre Gustave et Adrienne est tellement touchante.

–  J’ai beaucoup aimé également la relation entre Gustave et sa fille Claire. Ils se protègent mutuellement.

–  J’ai vraiment apprécié la découverte de la vraie raison qui se cache derrière la création de la tour Eiffel.

–  Pouvoir découvrir comment Gustave a créé cette tour est vraiment super intéressant.

–  J’ai beaucoup apprécié la bienveillance de Gustave envers ses ouvriers, que ce soit quand il était lui-même sur le chantier, ou que ce soit quand il était le chef de la construction de la tour Eiffel.

–  C’est vraiment dommage que cette magnifique histoire d’amour se termine à cause d’un chantage. Adrienne a vraiment pensé à Gustave et à sa carrière avant de penser à l’amour qu’elle lui portait.

–  Un très beau film sur cette tour de l’Amour avec un grand A comme…

The government is asking Eiffel to design something spectacular for the 1889 Paris World Fair, but Eiffel simply wants to design the subway. Suddenly, everything changes when Eiffel crosses paths with a mysterious woman from Arun's past.

 

My review :

– The love story between Gustave and Adrienne is so touching.

– I also really liked the relationship between Gustave and his daughter Claire. They protect each other.

– I really enjoyed discovering the real reason behind the creation of the Eiffel Tower.

– To be able to discover how Gustave created this tower is very interesting.

– I greatly appreciated Gustave’s kindness towards his workers, whether it was when he was himself on the site, or when he was the construction manager of the Eiffel Tower.

– It’s a shame that this beautiful love story ends because of blackmail. Adrienne really thought about Gustave and his career before thinking about the love she felt for him.

– A beautiful film about this Tower of Love with a big A like…
