Mon avis :

 Une ambiance pesante et une histoire très originale. Dans ce thriller psychologique à huit clos, nous découvrons Joe, un homme brisé que nous apprenons à découvrir au fil du film, qui cherche à se sauver lui-même en essayant de sauver une femme tout aussi brisée que lui. Comme Joe, j'aurais voulu venir en aide à cette maman et je ne m'attendais pas du tout à ce retournement de situation. Jake Gyllenhaal est sensationnelle dans son rôle.

The film takes place over the course of a single morning in a 911 dispatch call center. Call operator Joe Baylor (Gyllenhaal) tries to save a caller in grave danger-but he soon discovers that nothing is as it seems, and facing the truth is the only way out.

 

My review :

A heavy atmosphere and a very original story. In this closed-door psychological thriller, we discover Joe, a broken man who we learn to discover throughout the film, who tries to save himself by trying to save a woman just as broken as him. Like Joe, I would have liked to help this mother and I did not expect this turnaround at all. Jake Gyllenhaal is sensational in his role.
